Shades for Skylights from Fabritec

Fabritec Skystar Rollshade 600

This flat shade is perfect for skylight windows with a channel-set tensioning device and motorized operation. Choose from a selection of room-darkening or UV-safe solar screen fabrics to block heat, reduce glare, and improve energy efficiency without fading your belongings.

Fabritec Trackstar™ 701

Uniquely designed for horizontal applications, like sloped skylights and glass ceilings, they use folding shades that have wires spread 7 to 8 inches apart or tracks that guide the fabric into place. You can easily adjust them with a motor or a telescoping wand.

Solar screen fabrics are highly recommended for use with Fabritec Trackstar™ 701 shades. You can select fabrics with an open factor of 1-10%.

Hunter Douglas Duette® Cellular Shades for Skylights

Hunter Douglas Duette® Cellular Shades are great options for your skylight because of the SkyLift™ system, which is ideal for large, overhead windows. The system enables automation or the use of a telescoping wand. Their pleat sizes vary from 3/8” to 1 ¼” and block up to 75% of UV rays.
